Jake Linton, P.E.

Chief Operating Officer and Director of Engineering

As the only son of six children, Jake Linton was immersedin his family’s forty-year, precision parts, engineering and heavy construction business at a very early age. The experience set him on a course that led to a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Florida. Following an internship with a respected environmental engineering firm, Mr. Linton accepted a full-time field engineering position with the company, obtained his professional engineering license and soon became a partner and board member.

In 2014, Jake took the reins of his family business and shifted its focus to manufacturing modular integrated treatment systems for the remediation of soil and groundwater contamination – rebranding it as LMS Manufacturing. Under Jake’s leadership, LMS has designed, built, installed, and operated hundreds of treatment systems throughout the southeastern United States. In 2022, he turned his attention to water treatment solutions for the mining, natural gas, and disaster recovery industries to launch the LMS subsidiary – Produced Water Solutions.

Marshall Benson

President

Marshall Benson began his water treatment career in international engineering for the industrial and fire protection pipe, valve, and fittings sector.He developed and managed projects in the flow control space in more than 30 countries before making the transition into chemical and water treatment with one of the biggest names in engineering.

From Chile to Mongolia, Marshall has resolved scores of complex industrial, mining, and oil and gas water treatment challenges. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of the South and a master’s degree in international business and relations from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain.

William Hogan

Business Development and Director of Marketing

Bill Hogan studied at the University of Chicago and the Art Institute of Chicago before beginning his career at Esquire magazine. He relocated to West Virginia after discovering its natural beauty and began working in broadcast television, later accepting a position in media with West Virginia University.

After a decade in higher education, Hogan left the academic world, to helm a successful regional marketing agency with clients in the mining, natural gas and financial industries. The firm’s established relationships in the extraction industries led to an agreement to brand and market the services of Produced Water Solutions and ultimately helped to secure the company’s first major contract.
